Under the guidance of Dr. Vijith Sasidhar and Dr. Vidya Vijith, it continues to welcome seekers from across the world to experience Ayurveda in its truest form, where healing becomes a way of life.
Dr. Vijith Sasidhar – Ayurvedic Physician, Educator, and Researcher
Dr. Vijith Sasidhar is a globally respected Ayurvedic physician with more than twenty years of experience in holistic healing. He was mentored by the esteemed Valloor Shankaran Namboothiri, widely revered as “The Living Ashtanga Hridayam” for his extraordinary ability to recite the entire classical text, the Ashtanga Hridayam, one of Ayurveda’s foundational scriptures, from memory. This living transmission of knowledge continues to shape Dr. Vijith’s deeply traditional approach, rooted in classical wisdom and refined through modern understanding.
Committed to preserving and transmitting authentic Ayurvedic traditions, Dr. Vijith integrates classical principles into every aspect of his treatments, teachings, and research. His pioneering work in the application of Ayurveda to genetic disorders and cancer has established him as a respected voice in integrative medicine.
A passionate educator, Dr. Vijith has trained hundreds of Ayurvedic practitioners worldwide, bridging ancient Vedic wisdom with contemporary healthcare. His training programmes are recognised for their depth, authenticity, and direct transmission of knowledge.
As Co-Founder of Sreekrishna Ayurveda Holistic Centre B.V. in Europe, Dr. Vijith is devoted to making Ayurvedic knowledge accessible through personalised treatments, education, and nutritional guidance. His intuitive understanding of human nature and mastery of classical texts enable him to translate Ayurveda’s timeless insights into practical healing for modern life, guiding individuals toward balance, vitality, and well-being.
Dr. Vidya Vijith – Ayurvedic Physician specialised in Women’s Health
Dr. Vidya Vijith is a respected Ayurvedic physician and leader, known for her calm presence, compassion, and quiet strength. She embodies the essence of authentic Ayurveda — serving with dedication and humility, guided by deep knowledge rather than self-praise.
After earning her degree in Ayurvedic Medicine, Dr. Vidya trained under two of the most esteemed masters of our time: the late Brahmasree Valloor Namboothiri and the late Vaidyabooshanam Raghavan Thirumulpad. Under their mentorship she built a strong foundation in classical Ayurveda and specialised in Panchakarma, women’s health, psychotherapy, and spiritual healing.
As Head of the Pharmacy at Sreekrishna Ayurveda Chikitsa Kendram in Kerala, she is highly skilled in the preparation of traditional medicines and the art of individualised herbal formulations. Her precise knowledge of plants and classical recipes supports physicians and students worldwide.
With decades of clinical experience, Dr. Vidya’s approach unites wisdom and compassion. Her work goes beyond treating illness — she restores harmony in body, mind, and spirit.
As the guiding force behind our centre, she ensures that every team member upholds the values of authenticity, integrity, and compassionate service. Together with her husband, Dr. Vijith Sasidhar, she co-founded the Sreekrishna Ayurveda Family, a global community that connects patients and students across continents.
